Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: For carry-on baggage, all customers traveling on AirTran Airways will be restricted to one carry-on item and one personal item. Personal items include handbags, umbrellas, walking sticks, coats, cameras, reading matter, infant food, briefcases, and laptop computers.
Checked Baggage Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: For each fare-paying customer, AirTran Airways will allow one (1) checked piece free of charge, with size and weight limitations. The charge for a second checked bag will be $10 when paid using Online Check-In or $20 when paid at the airport kiosks and ticket counter. More than two bags are charged at $50 a piece.

Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: FAA security measures limit customers on all AA flights to one carry-on bag plus one personal item.
Checked Baggage Policy: 0 carry ons per passenger. Details: Customers who purchased domestic economy class tickets May 12, 2008, through June 14, 2008, may check one bag for free and check a second bag for $25 each way. Customers who purchase domestic economy class tickets on or after June 15, 2008, will be charged $15 each way for the first checked bag and $25 each way for the second checked bag.

Checked Baggage Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: Continental has implemented a $25 fee for customers checking a second bag when traveling on Economy fare tickets purchased on or after April 5, 2008 for travel within the 50 U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada. Certain customers are exempt from paying the new fee and will be allowed to check second bags free of charge (bags must meet weight and size restrictions). These customers include:
- OnePass Elite members
- SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus members
- Any customer traveling on a ticket purchased in Y class of service
- Continental Airlines Presidential Plus credit card holders
- Active military personnel traveling on orders
- Any customer traveling to/from Brazil

Carry On Policy: 2 carry ons per passenger. Details: Delta allows for two carry-ons per passenger; one bag and one personal item.
- Weighs less than 40 pounds (18 kg).
- Does not exceed 45 inches when you total length plus width plus height.
- Fits easily in our SizeCheck® unit (approximately 22"x14"x9").
- Fits in an overhead bin or underneath the seat in front of you.
These additional items are okay to carry on and do not count towards your allowance:- Food items for immediate consumption
- Assistive devices such as wheelchairs or crutches, provided passenger is dependent on them
- One box or bag of duty free merchandise
- A coat or jacket
- An umbrella
- One item of reading material
Checked Baggage Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: You can check one bag per passenger free of charge when traveling in the U. S., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. If traveling outside the U.S. you can check two bags free of charge.
On April 9, 2008, we announced that we would begin charging $25 for a second checked bag effective for all travel on or after May 5, 2008. Although this fee applied to all passengers regardless of when they purchased their ticket, we have made a business decision to offer those passengers who purchased tickets prior to April 9, 2008 for travel after May 5, 2008, a rebate of this fee. Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: Each customer may bring one bag that fits in the overhead bin plus one personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop, etc.) that fits under the seat in front of you.
Checked Baggage Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: Customers who booked their flight on or after May 1, 2008, will be charged an additional $20 fee for checking a second bag. Customers checking three or more bags on their flight will be charged a $75 fee per bag if they booked on or after May 1, 2008.

Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: Northwest allows you to carry one piece of luggage on board the aircraft plus a purse or briefcase or laptop computer or small backpack. The carry-on luggage must be of a size and shape to allow for storage in overhead compartments or underneath the seat in front of you.
Checked Baggage Policy: 0 carry ons per passenger. Details: Each ticketed passenger is allowed one (1) piece of checked luggage for a fee of USD $15 each-way and a second pieced of checked luggage for a fee of USD $25 each-way. Third and subsequent pieces will be assessed a fee of USD $100 per piece each-way.

Carry On Policy: 2 carry ons per passenger. Details: Per TSA regulations, carryon items are limited to one bag plus one smaller, personal-type item.- Personal-type items include purses, briefcases, cameras, food containers, or laptops (case included).
- Southwest Airlines limits carryon bag dimensions to 10x16x24 inches.
Checked Baggage Policy: 2 carry ons per passenger. Details: - Baggage Allowance: Beginning January 29, 2008, Southwest will allow two (2) checked pieces of baggage per ticketed Customer. Size and weight limitations apply.
- Excess Baggage: Effective January 29, 2008, you may check a third bag for a charge of $25. Your 4th through 9th bag or item will incur a charge of $50 per piece, and any bag or item thereafter will be $110 per piece.
- Weight and Size Allowance: Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage. Effective March 1, 2005, overweight items from 51 to 70 pounds will be accepted for a charge of $25.00 per item. Items weighing from 71 to 100 pounds and oversized items in excess of 62 inches but not more than 80 inches (i.e., surfboards, bicycles, vaulting poles) will be accepted for a charge of $50.00 per item.

Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: Spirit Airlines customers may bring one (1) carryon bag plus a personal item (such as a purse, briefcase, or laptop computer) on board at no charge.
Checked Baggage Policy: 0 carry ons per passenger. Details: The fee for the first checked bag is $15.00 each way when paid in advance online at www.spiritair.com and $25.00 each way when purchased at the airport. The fee for the second checked bag (when available for purchase) is $25.00 each way when paid in advance online at www.spiritair.com or when purchased at the airport. The fee for the third, fourth and fifth bags (when available for purchase) are $100.00 per item each way regardless of where purchased.

Carry On Policy: 1 carry ons per passenger. Details: For travel worldwide on United, you may carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, or laptop computer.- A carry-on bag must fit under your seat or in the overhead bin.
- Carry-on bag dimensions should not be more than 9 x 14 x 22 in/22 x 35 x 55 cm (length + width + height) or 45 linear in/112 linear cm (the length, height and width added together).
Checked Baggage Policy: 0 carry ons per passenger. Details: If you are traveling on or after August 18, 2008 on an Economy ticket or Economy award ticket purchased on or after June 13, 2008, a $15 service fee will apply for your first checked bag. Also, as previously announced, a $50 fee will apply for a second checked bag, depending on when you purchased your ticket and when you are traveling.

Carry On Policy: 2 carry ons per passenger. Details: You are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item. Personal items include a purse, briefcase, laptop or diaper bag. Carry-on baggage must be stowed in carry-on compartments of the aircraft, under a seat, or in an overhead compartment. Size requirements for carry on is up to 51 in/129 cm (11 x 14 x 26 in or 28 x 35 x 66 cm)
Checked Baggage Policy: 0 carry ons per passenger. Details: US Airways will assess a $15 fee for passengers’ first checked bags. If you purchased a ticket before July 9, the fee won’t apply. We’ve also recently begun charging $25 for second checked bags.
